Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4 1981) is an American actress. She is most famous for her performances in the films The Haunting of Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and also for her role in the TV seriesAngela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. Amantha is the main character in Rectify which is a Sundance Channel Drama series. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actor in film and television. She became popular with her roles in the drama series Rectify along with the sci-fi series Timeless. Her first appearance on stage was All My Children, a soap opera set in Gulf Breeze Florida. The soap show All My Children earned the actress an award by Soap Opera Digest as the Best Female newcomer. She mainly appeared in guest roles throughout the span of several years. Her role as the Dr. Erin Jameson on the TV series Hawthorne was praised by the audience. The character gradually gained a fan base with her stunning looks and incredible acting abilities. In the year she turned twenty years old, her first film part was Campfire Stones. In addition, she has appeared on Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks and various other movies. The character she played for in Beautiful Now was recognized with a Madrid International Film Festival Award. On the television program Timeless, she played her role as Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer has received a Teen Choice Award nomination and has also been highly praised for her performance in this show by the reviewers.
